We collect the loan details and contact information you enter, plus technical data like IP address and the page you used, to check fit, match you and prove consent. We never ask for a Social Security number. If you do not fit, we do not keep your name, email or phone. Email sales@firstadvantagemortgage.com to see or delete your data.
Effective October 28, 2026. Carolina Personal Loans is operated by 1st Advantage Mortgage Broker LLC (d/b/a 1st Advantage Mortgage), 128 S Tryon St Suite 1933, Charlotte, NC 28202.
What we collect
- From you: purpose and amount of the loan, state and ZIP, housing status, credit self-rating, bankruptcy and past-due answers, work situation, income range, monthly debt and housing payments, and, if you finish the form, your name, email and phone number. We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank logins or card numbers.
- Automatically: the page you were on, referring site, campaign tags in the link (UTM), IP address, browser type and the time of your request. We keep these with your request to prove when and how consent was given and to prevent abuse.
How we use it
To decide whether your request fits our lending partners' guidelines, to match you with partners, to contact you about your request, to prevent fraud and spam, and to improve the site. If your answers show we cannot match you, we do not store your name, email or phone number.
Who we share it with
After you submit a request that fits, we may share it with lending partners and service providers who help us run the site (form processing, email, spreadsheets). Matching with partners is switched off until partner agreements are in place. We do not sell your information to unrelated advertisers. A lender that receives your request may contact you and will use your information under its own privacy policy.
Calls, texts and email
We only call or text you if you check the optional call and text consent box. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and ask us to stop calls or email at any time at sales@firstadvantagemortgage.com. See the consent page.
AI chat assistant
The chat assistant answers general questions about personal loans. To produce an answer, the text you type and the last few messages of the conversation are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs the language model. We do not save chat messages, do not attach them to your loan request, and do not use cookies for the chat. To limit abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address is counted for up to ten minutes. Please do not type Social Security, bank, card or other account numbers into the chat; it is general information only, not financial advice.
Cookies and storage
This site does not use advertising cookies. It stores campaign tags in your browser's session storage so we know which link brought you, and it clears when you close the tab. If we add analytics, this page will say so before it starts.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing sales@firstadvantagemortgage.com. We keep qualifying requests for up to five years for compliance records, and then delete them, unless the law requires longer. Residents of states with privacy laws may have additional rights, and we honor valid requests.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with access limited to people who need it. No system is perfect, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
This site is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Your rights and how to use them
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it and to opt out of certain uses. We honor reasonable requests from anyone, whatever state they live in. To make a request, email the address on our contact page from the address you used on the form, tell us what you want and give the date you submitted. We may ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not release information to the wrong person.

Do Not Track and similar signals
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal information. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control do not change what we do, because we do not use your data for cross-site advertising.
How to protect yourself
Use a private connection when you submit forms, keep your email account secure with a unique password and two-step sign-in, and be suspicious of any message that claims to be from us but asks for payment or a password. We will never ask for your Social Security number or a payment on this site.
Questions or complaints
Contact us first at the address on the contact page. You may also contact your state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission about privacy concerns.
